Virtual Scan’s remote scanning technology came out of a veterinary MRI staffing conundrum.  In 2012 a facility in Upstate New York needed staffing, but no local solution met the requirements: superior technical capabilities, 24/7 availability, good communication, attention to detail, and reasonable pricing. By early 2013 we had validated the remote scanning concept sufficiently to staff and manage the New York facility from Florida.

What was initially the need to provide a solution for a single facility has grown into a company servicing CT and MRI staffing needs.  In 2015 we began to slowly add facilities, embracing the challenges and opportunities of growth. Our imaging team now consists of 9 technologists.

We have successfully connected to General Electric, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba scanners in 13 states.  Our client agreements are very flexible, ranging from full-time management and scanning to 3D reconstructions only.  By utilizing a VPN server and custom VPN endpoints, we strive to protect you, your patients, and ourselves in today’s challenging IT environment.
